It's weather like this that I'm glad I bought some nice rain tyres to stick me to the road! We must have an inch of running water on the roads here in bishops stortford! Gotta love the English weather!
Hi
I had four new Uniroyal RS2's about a month ago, but have managed to burst the side wall of one ( god knows how, but there's a big gash in it). Problem is no one has these tyres in stock, what is the best replacement for these? Obviously I will need to buy two and my budget is about £150...

Had another day off today, so I set about cleaning the car. As soon as I'd got the gear out it started to piss it down. Typical :(
Anyhow I thought f**k it, and cleaned it anyway. Then tucked it into the garage while the rain stopped for bit of SRP, topped with a layer of Dodo Juice Banana...

at £11 I'm willing to try if KY JELLY won't work.
What to go for?. I need new front tyres and I think I've narrowed it down to these 3.
I got Kumhos before and they lasted 10k miles under hard driving conditions and I thought they gripped really well.
Help? :p
Let me know what you think of these, I like them but I just need a little critique from others,
I'm off work at the moment with a broken leg so I'm trying to learn a little photoshop to pass the time away, it beats Jeremy Kyle any day ;)
I have a lovely set of refurbed 15" Superleggeras waiting for some rubber, settled on getting some Uniroyal Rainsport 2's but can't find stock anywhere.
Any tips?

Vickyx - hi!
At lakeside I saw a bg 182 and an arctic/albi blue 172 with 3/4 plates
Got myself some 15" Superleggeras, the lightest wheel to fit as far as I know.
I'm trying to decide which tyres to get now.
I have pretty much decided upon the Uniroyal Rainsport 2's.
Question is, what size?
Either a 205/50 or a 195/50
I've just read on another Forum that the 195 Rainsport...

I've recently replaced my two front tyres with these uniroyals from one tr-1 and one falken something-or-other.
I immediately felt no gain/loss in grip in the dry. But after reading a thread on here about tyre pressures I upped them to 36 psi which give a slight loss in overall grip but and...

Probably need some new tyres for my 172 later this year, especially if I do the odd track day. The car currently has Continental Sport Contact's but I keep reading good things about the Uniroyal Rainsport 2's. Is there much difference between these two tyres or just personal opinion? Any...
