0-60 of mark 1 clio 16v

is the manufacturers figure of 8 seconds accurate?

everywhere i look there seems to be a lot of variation in the times for the mk1 16v clio...

The 8 secs is for 0-62 MPH or 0-100 KPH !! The 0-60 MPH is 7.7 secs !! some seem to be slightly faster and get better with age !! I think mine runs about low to mid 7s

yes the 16v, VTS and 106 GTi are all VERY similar !! All depends on how good a driver you are !!

Its even got a girls name for f**k sake. Must admit though the mk1 valvers with flared arches look more muscular than the new wave of people carrier style hot hatches,and imho better than the vts/106
