1.2 16v clio insurance

£698? im 18 with 1 year no claims, fully comp all im my name. including legal cover and courtsy car with a 400 quid excess. i also have an sp30! does this quote seem good?

That is almost unbelievably cheap.

When I was 21 with no NCD (I had previously only been riding a motorcycle) but a completely clean licence and no claims on the bike the best I could get THIRD PARTY on a 1000cc Mini was around £700!!!!!!!!!!

1200 for me but with all mods declared, im 21 and with 1 ncb.

mods include alloys, clolour coded and rear spoiler

youd probably find a company that would do it for less if it was third party, fire and theft, some companies see it that as you only want cover for other people, your not going to take care of your car or be a careful driver



what company is your quote for the clio with? limited miles?

ok guys norwitch union, aberdeen . 6000 miles a year standard courtisy car, legal services, fully comp in my name, ive added my mum as second driver and dad as third. 400 quid excess including 250 young driver excess! im 18, 19 in jan with 1 year no claims and an Sp 30 with 3 points on the licence! think il snap it up then!!¬

Insurance nowadays is a joke!

I was paying £510 TPFT for a 1.0 Metro when I was 17 by the time I was 18 I was paying £800 TPFT for a 1.3 Escort

When i had the 1.2 16v it was £340 full comp, £100 excess with £120 under 25 excess. I had my mum and gf on the insurance too. Parked on secure parking with 3 yrs ncb at 22-24 etc. Was £400 in 2002..then came down each year.

Reduce the mileage too 6000 miles, add parents etc...bring its down a bit.

Now its £880 full comp on the Clio 182 with 3 yrs ncb, no accidents or convictions. Will be £700 odd in May as im 25 with 4 yrs ncb.

You gotta love older people on your insurance policy...

im paying 1450 fully comp on a 1.2 16v with no ncb & one write off accident with a 6k payout, oh & im 20

thats with all mods declared (which is alot)

wouldve been 950 standard,

I put both my parents on to! that dropped it from 1850 to 1450!
