1.2 16v oil?

I dont wanna sound like a total dunce here but whats the best oil to use in a 1.2 dynamique? its done just over 12k and im off down cornwall on sat so ive decided to change the oil and filter, thanx

I use Duckhams 5w50 fully synthetic with genuine renault oil filters seems good enough for the price, i try to change it roughly every 4-5k because of the abuse it gets.

ive got basic advice on oil but from what i understand you want fully synthetic, and some cheap fully synthetic oil isnt even fully synthetic so dont get cheap stuff!

5/40 you don't and shouldn't realy be going to 50 weight oil or higher.

It can block oil passages and looses BHP as its thicker oil ie the pump needs to work harder to push it round.
