1.2 16v remap...

has anyone on here had one done yet..see you can get it done at k-tec and would like to know what they thought of the outcome as it says about 10% gains all round.
I know some will say .."just get a 172" .

in all fairness the 1.2 16v is pretty much giving it everything it can anyway, pretty powerful for a 1.2, cant imagine much improvement.

if you use a 1.2 16v hard they s**t the bed pretty quickly anyway, the drivetrain isn't all that strong, speaking from experience

It might work better on mine as I have a pipercross induction kit and powerflow exhaust..plus it already knocks over 2 seconds of the 0-60 time.
Also nice to have a remap on the spec list as its gonna be in a mag soon.

yes that is steep but IIRC the 1.2 makes 75bhp so thats a 10% increase in power, shou7ld notice that.

imagine if we could all get 17/8bhp for 300 quid for our clio's....

do you have any other modifications planned? if so sort them and do the map last

if i were you i'd get a custom map done by RStuning in leeds, as you will get the most out of your mods and go home with before and after figures from the rr

Not having any other mods that effect the power..just some asthetic (sp?) ones left...oh and maybe a shortshift.

Id go for it !! thats a lot of gain for the money IMO !! Id like to see a better mod for the money make that sort of power !! I was going to map my 1.2 when I had it but no-one could map them at the time !!

I filmed it and put it on youtube...also removed the sparetyre and had litlerally no petrol in it..also I only weighed 8.5 stone..so I think that helped.
