1.2 clio problem ruining tyres

Car  330Ci Clubsport
Hi all, my bro in law has a mk2 ph1 1.2 clio totally standard. But it keeps eating the outer edge of both the NS tyres. Ive suggested getting the alignment checked but it seems strange both tyres are doing it and even if he gets an alignment there isnt much to be changed anyway.

Just wondering, on the offchance, there is a known issue that would cause this.

cheers all

For the amount it costs you'd be better off just getting the alignment done just in case.

Think something can be done on the rear but don't quote me on that lol.

I had uneven wear on both fronts and it turned out they were both steering to the left with passenger side worse than the drivers side. Felt so much lighter and safer when that was corrected. Also cost me some tyres :(
