1.2 ECU Remap...

  Clio Dynamique Noir
Ive got a 1.2 Clio and was looking at getting an ECU Remap that Ktec offer. Obviously the majority of people are going to say theres absolutely no point and save my money! But..ive decided to keep the car for a few more years until the insurance on a CS will be cheaper. So far the best quote ive got is £7000! :( So thought Ill have a play around with the car and make a few changes until then! Has anyone actually had this remap and noticed any difference at all? And Im quite interested to see if there is any changes. Might decide to book it now with a KTR exhaust while Ktec are offering their 10% discount...What do people think?...

It wouldnt even be noticable

You'd be better off saving the cash, stripping it out, and maybe upgrading the brakes

Save your pennies.
Especially if you're saving for a 1*2, no need to spend money on a remap that won't make a difference.

Do as Cookson says & strip it.
It will make the same amount of difference, performance wise, and once you've realised how minimal it is you can still put all your interior back in having not spent a penny!

just strip it mate, i doubt you would notice a map on a 1.2. do the suspention, breaks and stripage and it will be be like a new car. then when you get the money, you could always drop an f4r in there and have it as a little sleeper ;)
