1.2 radiator on a 172 engine ?

Just trying to figure out why my car is overheating alot when stuck in slow moving traffic,

Since doing the conversion i have stayed with the 1.2 radiator i had, purely because it was working and to get the car on the road asap, now could this be the cause of the car overheating?

its been to the point were both STOP light and Coolant has come on, but i cant switch car off as the starter is abit dodgey, so i just get out of traffic quick and floor it to cool it down which works,

urm not sure, havnt heard it coming on atall tbh, il take a look at that tomorrow,

but say the fan was working, and it still overheats would it then be a case of radiator to small for the engine?
