1.4 or 1.6

i did a search but didnt know what to search for kept getting no results lol

basically im going to upgrade to a slightly bigger engine and i was looking at the 1.6 but cant find any good ones (has to be trade you see dads rules lol) but there are a few 1.4s knocking about

is there much in it at all and is it worth all the extra hassle?

any help appreciated tar

Yeah but the 1.4 uses a shorter throw hence less capacity. Drive both and decide for yourself, wigh up the costs of insurance etc and go from there. My 1.6 was mint on fuel standard.

I'd go for the 1.6 mate. The 1.4 won't seem like as much of an upgrade. Its always best to wait around for a car that you realy want than rush into one you don't.

Insurance won't be that much different.

The 1400cc is 98bhp and does 0-60 in 10.2

The obvious choice here is to buy a Saxo VTS

Good point that sir.

It would be a huge upgrade in handling too.

I know the 1.4/6 and dci's have uprated suspension on them over the 1.2 but I doubt it makes that much difference.
