1.9 prima diesel torsion bar

im new to the site.. have picked up a little white 1.9 diesel mk1 clio and recently got some cloverleafs and decided its time to get it lowered... can do the front myself but have scoured the site and cant find a working guide of how to do the torsion bar... can anyone point me in the right direction??

You will need to register but thats the guide most commonly used, doing it is a piece of piss usually tbh as long as they aren't seized.

ok matey had a read through that guide.. got under the car after and i cant see a join in the middle so im guessing that mine is a closed type.. does this mean that the one torsion bar runs right through from one side to the other?
