1 Headlight working other not

my passenger side head light isnt working correctly....

side lights (first click) works fine - both

dipped (second click) driver side works fine , but the passenger stays on side light (first click)

full beam - both work fine

flashing - no lights on, flash the head lights - works fine

so obviously its not the bulb.... any other ideas!?!

Unless Im reading it wrong, it sounds like your dipped bulb has gone on the passenger side.

i had a quick look when i woz at work, it looks as if there is 2 blubs in the headlight right? a big mother fooker and a lill one?

its just strange how it works fine when its on full beam?

Yeah its your bulb. The wee one is a 501 sidelight and the big one a 472 bulb. The big one is double filament which means it has the dipped and the main filaments sepratly inside it. Very comman for one to go but not the other.o

agree,i would change the bulb first.the bulb is a twin element one and it sounds like the dipped beam element has gone.
