lots of nice goodies on that. Id ditch the pischy alloys and bonnet and probably have some fun with it.
Suspect the 40k is a bit OTT, probably includes the purchase price of the car in it

don't see why he did that to the 1.4 engine, 1.6 16v would of been the better option. As for 40k well LOL GMC do a supercharger kit for 4k which would make 250bhp atw with a ecu and mapping. Oh and the gearbox will last hardly anytime with that power.
