I picked up my brand new Clio 182 from Renault Leeds.

I paid £13400 for the car with both cup packs and metallic paint. My first brand new car.

These were taken a few months after when I’d had chance to chav it with a custom exhaust, gaz coilovers and Clio sport sticker.

Good to know it’s still going strong. I px’d it at the car people at Wakefield. Think I lost about 4K on it in just over a year,

That’s why I stick to old cars now.

That and the fact I have a wife and 3 kids now so can’t afford anything over 2k.

We bought a brand new punto active sport (oh the shame) that year too, that was our first ever brand new car also.

Paid £6.5k for it (got it with a fiat group friends and family discount, it should have been £9k).

It's great to see just how clean and straight they were new.

I paid £12,200 for mine in September of that year - taking delivery of it from Renault Manchester in early December 2004.

Still my only new car to date - I doubt I'll have another as the depreciation is just eye-watering!

It was mint tbf did get 4k from insurance thou so that took the sting out a bit!

I must admit I was more surprised that it was stolen when it was older you never think it will happen to you!
