16" alloys - need help

Car  Clio Dynamique 1.4
I managed to smash the back driver's side alloy and consequently bent the rear axel..

I was planning on getting some new alloys anyway but now it's definate!

First of all will i need to get the ECU re-mapped for 16" alloys because it won't know that it has larger wheels and therefore will make the speedo out or should it be ok?

Also does it effect the MPG with larger wheels?

Thanks

I would just stick with 15's on a 1.4 mate.

Cheaper wheels, cheaper rubber and looks nicer with a decent drop.

Less hassle worrying about things changing too.

16 inch rims should be fitted with 195/45 which have a similiar radius to the 195/50 fitted to 15 inch rims. actually i mean circumferance not radius dont i
