sorry for what might be a silly questions, but dont all valvers have ABS? or was it optional? cos on mine there is a ABS image on the dash, but it doesnt light up when u start the car, which i think they are ment to do. This means its either broken or not there, cos the wheels lock up under heavy braking and dont apear to be juddering to stop it locking

It was a option on the valvers i think, if u look in the engine bay under the brake servo u will be able to see the ABS unit if its fitted...
The reason your ABS light is not lighting up is probably because you dont have it... especially since it sounds like your wheels lock up under braking
Alot of clios have the ABS light on the dash, they also have the wiring for it......cheaper to make one dash/wiring loom that will fit all clios & not individual ones for each model.
