16V bumper too wide

im thinking of fitting a 16V front bumper to my clio, but im worried that the bumper will be too wide as my car doesnt have the flared arches that the 16Vs have, or wont this make any difference?, also does anybody know roughly how big the 16V bumper is height wise?

I think the bumper will be too wide as you say because of the wider arches.

This is a funny one - Back Bumper wont fit - the arches on a 16v come in at an angle.. so it wont meet properly.

As for the front, Ive heard mixed things - some people say they fit, some say they dont.. Im not sure - Ive never tried. Not much use this post, is it really. hehe.

well i had the valver wings with standard rt bumpers and it fitted fine so surely it would be fine vice versa!!!!

Yea, I think Rob had a Standard Bodykit and that fitted with his Valver wings too, come to think of it.

You may as well pick yourself up some valver front wings and fit them as well.

Come to think of it aint it the same bumper anyway !! Yours being a RSI !!

it will fit, my courtesy car, a 1.4RT, has a 16v bonnet and 16v front bumper, it doesnt have the arches

Umm well i have a 16v front bumper and it sticks out to far each side for my liking so i ve got some 16v wings now (which are having the indictors removed).

how far roughly does it stick out? r we talking mm or cm? any pics?

The 16v bumper aint too wide. But i think the mounts are slightly different. Can be fitted easily tho.

The rear bumper wont go on tho.
