16v gearbox oil leak

the new box i fitted 2 weeks ago is leaking oil from the underside of box. its not the cv boot, as thyr fine. the oil is coating the selector mechanism area.

has any1 got any experience with cracked casing or leaks from the box?

clios are commen for oil leaks from the selector shaft seal.if its only a slight leak then dont worry about it because even the new ones do it.there is a new seal avaliable but they always leak a slight bit.there is normally a plastic cover that sits underneath the selector that catches the oil.are the casings sealed togethor properley,look around the joining point to check for leaks.

its leaking quite a bit tbh theres oil on the subframe and small puddles on the drive in the morning. friggin car

check where the two casings meet to see if its been sealed properley.
