16v V 325i - Testing today

Mate just got one, its an old F reg 325i, lowered and chipped etc.

Lets just say the valver didnt let its fellow clios down! The 16v literally cained it to 100 by 3/4 car lengths and 1 car length to 60!

My mate thought he would beat me hahahaa.

Even after a 100 i was still equal length apart, after 125 the bmw started gaining slightly.

The most visable difference was not only 0-60 but in 3rd gear i just pulled streets ahead, the bm was making lots of its whining noises but just couldnt keep no where near me.

To be honest it wasnt a major challenge.

Put it this way, he wasnt too happy having this view of my car pushing him down the dual carrageway!

nice one mate. i had a quickie with a 328 from a rolling start in 2nd and there was nowt in it to 90.

Had a pratt in a 325 (Ci I think - new shape, M3 style thing) tailgating me on the M1 in the fast lane. He tried to undertake by cutting across 2 lanes! I put my foot down and he ended up behind me again. Not as quick as I thought itd be to be honest. They look pretty good, but dont seem that quick.

trouble with beemers is that theyre a heavy car. theyve got a lot of grunt but they have to haul that big arse of theirs along lol

theres nothing better than some monkey behind on the motorway stuck to your arse in a rep mobile,them grinning, i normally let them passed , pull straight back out on their back bumper,ho ho they soon move.

most beemer drivers think that they have the fastest thing on four wheels, but they are big and heavy. (a 318 must be poo slow!)

the 16v is massively under rated in my opinion, as some people aint got a clue what one is, if you say its the same shape a willaims they think youve got a replica, either that or they think you have a new 1.2 16v.
