i drove the car in question about 10times with no problems, yoz drives it ONCE and the gearbox packs in

and he says i can't drive!

anyway back on topic, "the car" should have a JC5 box (williams/172/182) it could have a JB3 (which i'm 99% sure it doesn't)

erm you can't! the box on "the car" has a tiny wee pressed tin plate around the back of it somewhere IIRC, i'm 99% sure its a JC5

Its a JC% in the car I'm sure unless someone been playing about with the internals.

Any JC3 or 5 box as used on the 172/182/williams/valver/1.4 16V/1.5 dci/1.6 16v can use the same dif.
