Lovely day, so we had a car day. Quick blasts on our private road, and some photo's.

The three of the RS's

Airbox from the Flamer, cleaned.

225 engine bay, cleaned.

Then, we found a fly getting raped by another fly on my bonnet..

Tried having a shot at taking pics of other things.

225 sounds ace. Any pics of your backbox? I've got hold of a 2nd standard exhaust, so thinking I could maybe do a 'chop.

Lovely cars. This backbox chop..if i was to goto an exhaust specialist, what would i ask for and how much would it roughly cost? Would it pass an MOT? What is involved?

Getting an R26 when i have the funds and that sounds mean!!

Costs around £60 mate.
It passes MOT yes. I had mine 2 days ago and it passed with flying colours.
The backbox is removed and replaced with a straight through pipe.
I'm not going to go into detail about the physics of it but it doesn't sound as rough/lumpy as it would on any other car due to the shape of the exhausts.

Equal length?... You could get it done a lot cheaper at an engineers workshop.
