just a quicck one really what is the diffence between a 172 engine and a 182 engine??

The inlets and breathing part of it.

The exhaust manifold is also different

so if i was to put the top and bottom inlet on my 172 off a 182 would it make much diffence? and whats diffirent about the exhuast manifold???

Save yourself the hassle and dont bother. You'll notice sod all difference.

Sorry to thread hijack, but is the same tooling used to do a belt change on both the 172 and 182?
