172 197 injector cc

Debating weather to stick with 172 injectors or use 197 ones that I got a bit since. Basically need to know what cc both of them do does anyone know please?

standard 172 injectors are 250cc

Great thanks barron just need some geek to come up with 197 now LOL they are totaly different and instead of 4 holes they have 8

megane ones are 390, a bit big but the spray pattern is FANTASTIC

On a stock internals engine you can get away with standard injectors, even with cams.

Yep Megane 225 essentialy. Injectors are cheap too! No problem running them at low duty cycles etc.

Yes We use an remapable ecu so I would think that should be fine they do look like they will have a fantastic spray pattern which will be great at high revs

yes, to a point. on large injectors, small changes in the raw data of the map make bigger differences. Not sure what size 197 are but I think they're the same type as 225 (siemens deka)

Sent injectors of today to get a comparisment hope to know by monday.

Got injectors back 5000 pulses at 12ms (172)62ml (197)68ml so we have put 197 ones in

I got them with an engine. I have split the engine and sold it on and kept the injectors. So basically free

The Siemens Deka ones from the meggy 225 are really nice injector..
