172 advice

hi all, a will be looking for a new car in july and want to take time to look for a good 1. i have opted for the ph1 172 and i was just woundering if this is the right decision or should i put the extra and get the ph2:S my heart is realy set on a sunflower 172 but a doubt al get 1 as they are pritty rare:dapprove:. i have a budget of up to 4k for a ph1 and 5.5k for a ph2 what would i see for my money. (i.e good ph1 or poor ph2)

(this question has probably been asked thousands of times so appologies)

Hi mate

I have just yesterday bought a sunflower 172. Not mint but very close to it. Not bad at all for a seven year old car. Helps that it was one owner. Dont believe what you read sunflower looks good in the flesh.

Ill take 4k for it if you want ! Only kidding.......

Only sold 31 apparently. OF course that does mean that there are 30 others kicking around.

5.5K will give you a pretty good version of the ph2 as well as 4K getting you a good version of the ph1.

If you want a poverty spec 1*2 £5.5k will get you a decent cup.

give us 6 grand and you can have mine only joking, i was in the same position as you a while ago, and opted for the ph1, havent looked back since. Love the car doesnt feel old and with extra cash left you can afford to do a few little mods to it.

1 word for this, DEVISTATED lol al jst have to look very close on p.h, ebay the works lol and if any1 wants to sell theres in the summer p.m me and we can sort sumthing out but thanks to all you guys who have posted u have been very helpful
