172 Alloys on a Non Sport

Hi, I fitted my 172 alloys last night, and i'm getting some scrubbing from the rear left wheel when turning right, any ideas why?

Offset of the 172 alloys might be a bit too high for non-sport application. I guess it's scrubbing on the inner arch?

If it's rubbing on the inside they will. ET 43 to ET36 works best on a non-sport.

Yeah it is rubbing on the inside, i just assumed they'd fit properly, silly really, will try spacers!

Thats right.6X15 ET43 for non RS,7X15 ET48.5 for 172 phase 2.Put 5mm spacers and you'll be ok!

Thanks for the advice, any idea if ill need elongated wheel nuts with 5mm spacers?

Just cut the plastic that it's touching away.
