172 and 182. Difference?

Well, This is something ive been wondering for a while,

What are the differences between a 172 and 182?

Is it the engine or interior or exterior or all?

Technically not much but as a starter there are a few tweaks:

182
More power
Different exhaust system (4-2-1 system)
Revised catalyst
Wheelbase is slightly longer
Wider track
Stiffer rear anti-roll bar
Stiffer springs (even more so with the Cup option)
Revised interior (seat covering and seat belt colours)

The 182 also has pretty silver dots on the alcantara seats. And lovely silver seatbelts.

No, it isn't. Has increased castor angle, which increases the wheelbase slightly.

you rekon hey PAUL B check the figures mate the 172 and 182 figures are virtually identical mate certainly not noticable anyway nothing a good driver wouldnt sort out anyway and considering the 182 was suppost to be the new better model etc i wouldn't exactly say renault pulled out all the stops with it to make it a much better car than the 172 just a money spinning exercise imo they still havnt pulled out all the stops even on the 197 either looks maybe but certainly not performance the 172 cup would still be all over a 197 1/4 mile etc lol

If the 182 had more castor he'd be right that the wheel base is longer, is this the case or?
