172 Badge help please

Hello

I hope someone can help me please,the other week i had my mark 1 172 badges stolen,the Renault Sport one on the back and both the 2.0 16v ones on the side,it cost me £50 odd pound to replace them along with £150 for sparaying the tailgate because of the damage they had done.

Anyway the thing is the back Renault badge isnt sticky on the reverse side like i thought it was it has 3 kind of like prongs which go into 3 holes into the bodywork,the thing is the prongs are to small for the holes,they fit into a kind of rubber seal which rest in the hole.

They have vanished on my car probably when the tailgate got painted has i found one inside the boot,but was knackered.

Do you think i will be able to get these from Renault even though they do not come with the badges,has nayone else come across these rubber plugs which the Renault badge sticks into.

I spose ill have to go to a scrapyard to see if i can get the rubber plugs if i cant get one from the dealers,has ill have 3 holes in the back of my car,not happy.

The dealers sell them. They are the same as the ones that hold the renault badge on the front of valvers. They look like little clear plastic buckets.

I hate to say this, but it can only be a Clio owner who would do this (although there are some thick people about!) so I hope its no one off of this forum or else!

my dads car had the sport badge nicked off it before he picked it up,

when we got the car it was as good as new
