172 brakes onto a non sport?

Following on from the rear disc conversion thread for the 1.4 i have now secured a pair of 172 front calipers.

Assuming i get the larger 172 brake discs, the rest should just swap right over on the original hub and brake lines?

nope, you'll need the 172 hubs also amongst other stuff

but if he got some brackets made up then it could then be possible to mount 172 brakes on standard hubs though,

I believe F0xy looked into the bracket situation, and it was a no-go. Not enough space to get the required step or something.

you need , hubs , shocks, drive shafts , wishbones. and also the bracket the holds the drive shaft to the back of the engine... you also need to swap the abs rings over but go steady with these as they break easy
