172 cat flow tests?

We got one of those 'Mario Andretti' cats on our race car

If you ever stick some hot cams in it you might want to get something better. Although it's 2.5" ID it only flows like a 1.88" ID pipe. That's assuming you have the same one as me. They do the same core in up to 3", I doubt the bigger exit makes much difference to flow.

I've just measured a K-Tec decat, I think there may be a larger diameter version, this one has an ID of 57.5mm. It flows 300cfm which is comparable to the 380cfm I measured with the 64mm ID pipe (area for area), the bends must be spot on. 300cfm is loads, I just need to find a cat that can equal it.....
