This morning I was driving to work with my trusty 172 and noticed suddenly on a gearchange from 3rd to 4th gear a little crunch like I didn't press the clutch pedal fully.
After some reseach, it looks like my clutch isn't full disengaging.
The clutch pedal feels a bit funny too. Normally, it is very stiff which is reduced slightly when the clutch is disengaged. Now it feels like it's missing the last part and the movement is slightly shorter.
When the clutch pedal is pressed and in 1st gear, the car moves slowly forward with very little power like the clutch is engaging a slight amount.
This problems aren't there all the time by the way.
Little detail btw, this is very probably the original clutch and the car and this is a picture that I also took this morning on the way to work:
250.000km (155k miles)! This is my daily .
Can anyone clarify this behaviour. I surely hope not to have the clutch changed, since this is an expensive job .
------------
Also, I noticed that my clutch cable has slack the other way (and the fork also moves), but I can not compare this with anyone, so maybe it's normal. I uploaded a video to show this "issue":

But this might be unrelated .
