172 cup 16" alloy what tyres????

Hi all im curious as to wat are the correct tyre for my cup currently they have 195 45 16 wrapped around them, however today i read the clio sport book and it states that on a 16" rim these should actually be 205 45 16????
any help would be much aprecciated also what are the best tyres to get that are reasonably priced??

195 45 16's are right for a 172 cup, the 182 uses 205/45/16's. Most cup owners use the conti's the cup comes with
