hi, thought i'd look through some other threads about rear discs and i've read about spacers breaking apart when removing old discs. is this the same thing as the abs rings?
if not, abs rings or abs magnets- or does it not matter on a cup?
And,isn't the same thing, with abs ring.ABS ring is found on the disc and has 44 teeth. This spacers found between stub axle and rear disc!!If you change rear discs, doesn't matter if you put(spacer),new one or no!!
i know i drive one! but sods law it would need the abs rings for something else, or something might not fit on right. use to have a vectra and that used the abs system to drive the speedo.
i was just looking for clarification that i don't need to fit the abs rings (which i now have- thanks all). even though the cup doesn't have abs, manufacturers can be buggers sometime and sods law something wouldn't work without the abs rings fitted. as i said in my previous post, the vectra used the abs rings for driving the speedo, so abs rings aren't just used for abs systems.
