172 Cup alarm probs Help please!

My cup has developed a problem with its alarm.

The immobiliser seems to work fine, but when I use the remote to unlock it and deactivate the alarm, as soon as I open the door the alarm goes off.

I can only shut it up then by closing the door and locking it again.

Tried locking / unlocking with the key only, taking the battery off, pressing the key when in the ignition, all seemingly to no avail.
I can start and drive it with the alarm going and can only switch it off by locking myself in using the remote.

I am an electrical numpty, so any help would really be appreciated
(by my neighbours probably)!

Replace it with a Toad Ai606.....Job done
