172 Cup Aux Belt Change

Hi All,

Is the Aux belt easy to change on the Cup? I'm going to be doing it this weekend just wanted to know if there are any surprises waiting for me.

Should get Birchdown to do it.

You will need the correct tools though from what I here

I thought it was really easy on the 172 Cup as there are no tensioners as such (think the alternator is the tensioner?) and no aircon to get in the way?

It is easy, not like the air con models. Just remember which way the belt is routed. I've got it wrong in the past and it still goes on and runs but you get some rubbing...

No special tools required, unless you count spanners
