172 cup brake balance valve

  RenaultSport clio 172 Cup
When i was fitting my new exhaust system to my 172 cup, i sppoted that the linkage that connects the brake load valve to the rear axle of the car was missing. It looks as if it was never there in the first place. Can anyone tell me if the linkage should be there i.e not fitted at the factory or is this a track day modification?

^^ Yeah, they don't have one. Some 172 Cups were being failed on the MOT because of it. But apparently VOSA have made note of this being lacking on the 172cup. hope that helps.

PS. Real cars don't have ABS and traction control ;)

Thanks for the info. Great help.
I have asked the question of am mot centre over the lacking of the linkage. They opened the mot bible and showed me the section on the brake valve. Nowhere in the text does it say the linkage has to be there. but the valve that is fitted on the car must work. That means that is must move when operated by hand.
