172 Cup - handbrake cover y/n

Quick question.
Do Cups have a cloth or leather gaitor over the base of the handbrake to cover the mechanism?

Just had my car back minus this but want to be sure it IS missing before I say anything.Cant see why it would have been removed...

they are all plastic, same as 172, 182

So there is no flexible gaitor on Clio handbrakes?
Just to clarify I was meaning something along the lines of what is around the gearstick.

I thought it was odd it would have been taken off as the work done would not have required it but it suddenly looked odd for some reason and I can see the mechanism below - which incidentally is rusty! Looks unfinished.

Defo no gator on the handbrake on my 172. I suppose if you wanted to you could fit one easy enough.

I went over the car with a fine tooth comb when I got it back so was probably just a bit overly cautious.

Great to have it back anyway. Might try and get a gaitor made though as now I have noticed the lack of one it looks really scruffy.

when mine went in for work i looked under the dash near the pedals to see what was like most of the underside of the dash missing! was fuming.. only to post on here and find out that they are all ilke that!..... oh!
