172 cup Insurance

Hey guys

Looking to get a 172 cup when i turn 19 in April next year. Was wondering what your quotes have been like? Job will be able to cover the cost's easy was just wondering what the quotes could be for me?

Also if not a 172 cup are there many 172's in Black knocking around?

if you have about 1-2 years ncb I would assum around 1600-2000

I drove my mates 172 the other week and i just fell in love with them.

If i could get a cup it would be even better

yeah cups are good, especially on the track. I think some insurers class them as group 17 though

I've just got a 172 FF and the cheapest quote ive had is 1300. Low risk area, 2years ncb, third party F&T.
God i cannot afford it tho. Need to sell my valver

no mines a flame red 172. got it at the beginning of this year when I was 19, insurance was 1600

Got a quote of £1500 for me with Bell, 19 with one years NCB.

Fully comp as well.

I got warned it would be like £3k +

It was either a 172 or my mates Throttlebodied Saxo

I chose the clio

saxos are chav-mobiles. 172 is far nicer

just away to turn 19, 1 years ncb, 3 points, pass plus, just over 200 a month!

worth it tho!

Cups are more expenbsive to insure and some of the companies that offer good rates on 172 and 182s dont offer them on 172 Cups.
