172 cup or 182 cup

ok basically ive got a clio extreme (1st car) and i love it and in a few years i want another clio but was unsure on whether to get the 172 cup or 182 cup? In terms of ur experience what would be a better one 2 go for? or should i test drive them both and decide that way?

the difference is about 3-5k tbh, depends if you want new or old, there both as fast as each other

itll be new or about 2 years old (depending on how much i have in 2 years). I like the blue 182 with the white racing stripes thats my 1st choice at the moment.

Get a old one and save 4k plus!!!!!! They are going for silly money with 17 months warrenty left etc.....

by the time you get it the warranty on the 172 cups will be up so youll have to take that into consideration. Id say a 182 racing blue with gordinis (54 plate). get it in september 2006 and and itll only cost you about £8000-£9000.

Id say that too...but as a 2nd car coming from a 1.2 1st car...no traction control, no ABS?

its going to be a massive step no matter which 172/182 you opt for. Make sure youre careful with it and respect the power that the car will have over your previous and youll be ok. Id imagine if you drive your car like an idiot, then not even ABS will save you.
