172 cup owners - oil dip stick

  Engles Mummy
What a stupid place renault put it at.

I tryed to check mine after i got back from work, burnt the top of my hand. Yes it was stupid on my part but what a silly place to put it!

aye.

You can just imagine the Haynes manual instructions.
1) Remove engine (see section 4.4)
2) Remove dip stick and check oil level
3) Replace engine (refitting is the reverse of removal)
:clown:

There nothing wrong with that try a Williams or Valver. Then again your brake fluid in an annoying space so maybe its swings and roundabouts

Better than some cars I suppose. Some manufactures aren't even using dipsticks anymore, just electronic sensors for gauges on the dash. Could you trust that gauge and two wires to look after your engine? I couldn't. I'd rather struggle with the shitty Renault design!!!
