172 Cup Power Steering Fluid

  Clio 200 Cup
Not sure if this should go in the Engine section but anyway....

My 172 Cup is weeping power steering fluid from a sensor on a PAS pipe at the front drivers side of the engine.

I have a new sensor, will this cure the leak? Im told its a common problem - will the pipe be cracked or is it just a sealing issue where the sensor screws in?

What PAS fluid should I buy and where from?

Does anybody know the procedure for draining/refilling the PAS system?

Do I need to bleed air out like with a brake line?
(spongy steering could be interesting!)

Any help would be great,

Cheers,

for the fluid, i use this (only need 1 ltr for the whole system)

any ATF dexron II will do!

remove the old sensor and have a quick check with a pen light for any cracks in the high pressure line.

re-fit the new sensor, nip it up tight, but dont go mad!

you shouldn't loose too much fluid, but top it up in the res!

then with the engine running, do 4-5 turns from full left to full right to bleed the system, re check the level and repeat if need be!
