172 Cup Price

  Honda & VW
I wasn’t planning on getting another Clio after recently selling my Ph1 but I never say never if the price is right.
What I would like to know is peoples thoughts regarding price based on the following details:

52 plate 172 Cup in Blue
80k miles
FSH
New tyres
Totally standard

Price????

  Westy. MX5
Exactly the same spec as mine, so £1200 but it is a cat c jobbie. For a non categerozised Cup I would say £2400.

  320d
About he £3K mark condition dependant. Prices haven't half come down. 12 months ago you would be looking at £4K for a good cup.

  Maybe a 172 Cup..
Any belt history would play a big part in price. Might have to look for a cat c or d Cup myself I think. £1200, bargain, bargain, bargain...

Dont i know it lol! Good job its only a toy really, its now worth a pot of piss lol! Even in the last 4months i've seen a big drop in all MK2's be it 172, or 182. Seems the markets full of em!

  FiestaST(ex 172 Cup)
Ouch! Paid £3600 for mine in january 2010, 75k miles, FSH, standard, new tyres. Gotta be under £3k now :(

Sad that you sold the Ph1 mate, was nearly my replica and I loved it :)

I've got a trophy now and the laws of trophy ownership mean no coilovers, if you get a cup please put it on the floor

you didnt, but you should've ;) before they became the 'thing' to do, now its a bit old hat

Anyway, I take back my previous statement, the trophy will be going on coilovers, one day, just speaking to a company now about developing a new kit, hopefully he will agree

Certainly have come down in price of late.

But if you hold on to one long enough they should hold more value than a 172 of the same age and condition etc.

  Zetec YO!!!!!
Im currently thinking of getting one there is one near me 53 plate 55k full service history excellent condition 4,295 but that seems a bit pricey really.
