172 cup sport Advice needed

I'm looking at buying a 172 Cup sport, I had one a few years back and selling it has been the worst mistake ive made so i want another one!

Problem i'm having is there doesn't seem to be to many about, i'm looking for unmodded and immaculate body work. The only one ive found thats grabbed my attention is this one (http://www.good-motors.co.uk/used-c...aultsport-172-cup-3dr-cc-bury-201245491641977) through autotrader.

I'm going to have a look at the weekend and so thought i'd ask the experts (you lot) what sort of things and questions I should be asking, especially as the mileage is way above any other car i have ever bought!

as with any car look for the service history, and also if the belts have been changed recently as that will cost around £300. Also at that mileage (correct me if I am wrong) but dephasers start going, so check if this was done with the belts. If not listen to the engine to see if it has a tappy diesel sound to it?

also a lot of clios i looked at had bad leaks from the rocket/cam cover so check that also.

I bought my cup from good motors back in march. Can't fault them, they were honest about the car being a cat D and gave me a very fair price for the px of my old fiesta.
One word of warning though, they don't have a toilet, so you have to use a bush in their yard that isn't excatly private. But after a 200 mile drive, bustin for a wee I didn't have a choice lol.

If you're looking for an unmodded one though, that cup looks like its on aftermarket suspension. A couple of other things I notice are the headlights look quite hazy and the n/s foglight looks like its got condensation. Easy things to fix though

I think I've seen this on auto trader. Can't tell much from the pics. Notice it's missing a splitter and looks like the stereo has been out before. Painted brake calipers are so so. I was looking for a while and ended up buying one off here as I knew of both previous owners.

It looks clean enough but if u really want a gooden like myself i'd hold tight and then the right one for u will pop up mate
