172 cup throttle body

I am getting a company car as working for Honda an then I'm going to buy a 172 cup an kit out, some mods I've thought of doing are below.

Amount willing to spend is 10k

172 cup 4-5k
Wilwood 4 pot brake pakage
Thottle bodies
Schrick Billet Camshafts
Recaro Pole position seats
Yozzasport exhaust
Carbon front splitter
Carbon door mirror's
Bilstein suspension B16 PSS9 from yozzasport
Trophy Turini alloy wheels.
ITG Maxogen
Mocal 13 row oil cooler


Hoping to push it to around 240-50bhp mark.

just need a 172 cup in decent condition with low miles.

yoz's cup is coming up for sale

you will see 210-220 with the above mods and willwoods suck big time.

if you want 250 brake then look to spend a extra £4000 on top of the boddies for a true 250hp

Look for an ex cup race car, or if your planning on spending that much maybe a 197 race car but i guess you want something road legal...

IMo save yourself a few quyid and drop another engine in there and being as your changing the brakes and suspension save yourslf a bit more and use a 1.2 etc car as there cheaper agaain.

Bin the idea of the door mirrors, even the racers stopped using them as theyre pap.

If its a second car you planning on stripping it out? Lots of extra go for less money that way. Better with fixed buckets and a stripped interior than pole positions.

as suggested the yozza sport cup is already setup to 240bhp iirc, might be worth buying that for 10k?

christ miles away now. ah well least its still in the club though.

yeh saw the exige in the pics from knockhill, looked good matey.

clio as a package is pretty complete, might not be that quick, but kinda hard to replace. even big iain has said that compared to his vee!
