172 cup trade in and 182 price

  black golf v6 4 motion

wot u think of this....

2003 172 cup part ex £9300 + 182 black for £14000 no extras though, 4except free tyres for life of ownership....... import though

nearly 5K to change from a great wee car thats not even a year old into something that IMO is no better. Especially without the Cup extras.

yes i agree ,keep the cup,you just want it coz its new, it is nearly £5000 more, and in a years time you will want the next clio,if i was gonna spend another 5k i would get something that was alot faster, better, etc, this is the same car nearly ??

keep the cup ,they going to get rare and the resale values will be better than both the 172 and 182 (in comparison to original cost). then when the next new thing comes out get that.

Rip off. Sell the Cup private for £10k and buy a UK 182 Cupped for about £13k.
Totally agree d-cup,why be ripped off by a sh*tty dealer who is still gonna treat you like sh*t if/when some warranty work pops up.Sell private for as much as poss and walk into motorpoint or somewhere and drive out for £12,600 with cup pack and cat 1 alarm fitted(motorpoint-derby).

I reckon for £3k max you could be driving away, not 5k,and when you come to sell the 182 it wont be £2k cheaper than a u.k one.

Also check out the warranty. If renault say no,youve only got a 2 yr one dont panic, they also sell an m.o.t after 2 years to imports for £80.This allows you to continue with you clio and sell it to whoever and renault will promise to get it through the first m.o.t when the 3rd year is up and cover the car for warranty work up until that date. Its like an extended warranty and helps sell the car
