Well after not having a performace car for around 2 years i thought it was about time i got another!
Had lots in the past, mostly japanese turbos.

And after seeing Harrys M's lates video of his trophy it tipped me over the edge..
I wanted either a FF 182 or a 172 Cup.

Well after scouring the web for a week i came accross one which i went to see and subsequently bought.

And outside my house..

Standard apart from KTEC Stealth catback, ITG panel filter and Koni Lowering Springs.
FSH all belts and dephaser done etc.

So generally i was pretty pleased with it. Felt quick and handled well.
Very basic interior though and HATED the standard bus steering wheel.
And also the exhaust was ridiculously loud and had to go.

So bought a brand new standard cat back.

Feels pretty good on the road now, its quick, i think i have a very healthy one. Really troubled a modded Astra VXR the other night.
Could never drive it every day though lol!

Next steps are to fit new plugs, matched inlets and all the brake bits! Oh and now i need new driveshafts as mine are both clonking :(

I've owned 3 glanzas 2 GT turbos an mr2 turbo an S14A a Honda accord turbo a GT4 and quite a few others.

yeah the oem seats hurt my back when taking them out so they were definately heavy.

Suspension is lowered on springs at the mo and planning on keeping it standard cup but we shall see!

Little update..

Just had the car back from TwoTechs in Dartford. £400 lighter :(
Had all my brake bits put on, Matched Inlet manis, New Plugs, New Leads, new injector to cure a miss fire and a full check over and clean bill of health :)

Have also just RSTuner'd it. All went smoothly and now runs very well. Also cleared my pesky airbag lights with the airbag module. Well please with that.

Car is running epic ready for brands on the 25th.
Still a few more bits before then though :)

Just out of interest, what does the scangauge tell you? Can it go as far as oil temp/pressure etc or are extra sensors required?

Unfortunately not :( water temp only aswell as ign timing, rpm, mpg, voltage etc..also does 0-60 1/4m timings too and is a faultcode reader/clearer.

Well before its first trackday i bought new 205 profile Federal 595 RS-R's. Had them put on and then went to TDI South to have my Pure Motorsport Solid topmounts and strut brace fitted aswell as full geometry setup.

Went for -2.0deg Camber and 0.05deg toe out.
Was very expensive but so worth it.
Had to fit a pair of 5mm spacers on the rear as they were rubbing on hard cornering.

Car was fully epic on track, and was dominating much quicker machinery out there. awesome through the corners and on the brakes.
Even Tom Chilton was very impressed ;)

How did you find the RSRs?

I'm at Brands in my cup next friday and don't know whether to go yokohama s drive, RSR at 205 or Michelin PS3. Mine does get used on the road and i want it working in the wet. How have they lasted?

RSR all the way mate. Check my thread in the track section and there's some pics on there of them.
They did wear fairly heavily but the grip was seriously impressive when warm.
