172 cup

Im buying a 172 cup and already trying to find bits for it,

I want to upgrade the brakes,
Change the trophy wheels to black or white but not sure yet
get some coilovers and
get a show cage and change the exhaust on it

any help??

show cage - no!!! please don't (k-tec if you must)

exhaust - depends on what you want/how much

got a fiesta atm with a show cage in and just like um lol, wana keep the backseats in atm

exhaust - either a twin 3 inch probs or one single 3 inch , ill get powerflow to do it , any benefits from a decat??

i wouldn't even think of a show cage dude!! u might as well get on that does its job!! if u can find one look out for the MSV half cages!! they do come up for sale every now and then!! i got one and it looks the nuts!! a good cage if u dont wanna go for a full roll cage!!

H&R's!! i would defo consider them m8!! for the cash u cannot go wrong and they really do transform how the car drives!! also get them set up properly!!

for an exhaust system i would go for something like a Miltec or Janspeed, something like this over a custom Powerflow system!! and if u do the cat back do the de cat too!! make most the difference IMO

wheels wise it is down to preference!! i hav White Turini's on my cup and they look the nuts!!

yeah, proper cage or dont bother, show cages are a bit boy racer in my opinion, and dont really do anything.

Don't do a twin exit exhaust....doesn't look at all right hanging out the bottom of the bumper.
Do a nice and tidy 3 inch rolled single exit cut into the bumper or stealth it.

agreed again!! some people like the below the bumper look though!!

i went for the K Tec / Janspeed Recessed System and think it looks spot on!! i know GDI do a similar system!! the stealth is ok if u wanna hide it!!

u dont need to go for Brembo's dude!! as long as u get a decent set up they should brake fine without the need for 4 Pot Calipers!!

Thats not a proper cage though? Thats a half way house form a full cage. and a show cage and no point IMO.
