My ktec straight through system sounded alot better. Still very loud, but I liked the noise.

I was thinking about de-catting mine,its got a straight through k-tec,but if it sounds like that then no.I also do a bit of motorway driving and i dont think i could put up with that for 10 minutes let alone an hour and a half.

You can really tell poor exhausts as they make your ears bleed at idle/low revs imo.

Decent sports exhaust should be loud when required ie above 3/3.5k. Not when you're sitting at the traffic lights and your head feels like it's above to esplode!

My car was recently decatted and it still doesn't intrude into the cabin below 3k revs. Scaffolding poles welded in place of your cat isn't clever.

Mine dosen't sound like that at all. Mine is a powerflow but it is quiet at idle and around town. It's only loud when my toe goes down.

mine was like this due to having no silencers and a decat.

awful in winter, sports cat with no silencers on the centre pipe is much better

I have a feeling that there are **** all baffles in my backbox TBH. (prev owner had it made)

So, going to get a new silencer in the centre section soon, although to be fair, it does sound worse on that vid than in real life. May try with my digicam see how that sounds
