172 decat

Who has a 172 with a decat? which 02 sensor if any have you disconnected?
with my decat i unhooked the post cat 02 sensor but my car runs rough and rich but ok with it connected
who has had problems with theirs?

Leave both plugged in.

You unplug the second one after the cat.

You think? Ive had both plugged in for about 1 1/2 years and 18 k miles and mine runs sweet as a nut and no wanring lights have come on. (touch wood)

as i said when i unplug the last one the engine light comes on and i get faults with first 02 sensor knock sensor and throttle possition sensor

no, you need to remove the second sensor, but leave it connected (and blank off the hole)

the second sensor must read cleaner than the first, the only way to do that is to tie it under the car, but out of the exhaust stream

cups seem to be ok with both in, or just 1

172s are weird, some you can just unplug the second sensor, other you have to do as above

if you tie it up the o2 sensor will start sensing oxygen and that will deffo mess the fueling up
