Hi all,
Well, I have just had a custom exhaust fitted, and Im lovin it
Renault NZ do Superchips and I can keep the warantee, but I want greater flexability for further mods down track.
I only have a couple of choices, one is Unichip the other is an "Interceptor" which is a 3D map for the AFM. So the difference is basically..
The unichip can change timing values, the interceptor cannot. I know the unichip is better, its just that the interceptor can be removed - very easily and hard to detect. I.e. the plug does not have to be at the ECU. Oh and its cheaper
But the actual question is... Does changing the timing improve things that much? Or is it simply the fuel map that makes the most difference.
Cheers all
