172 engine problem

Was driveing it hard Dropped a rocker and put a hole in the rocker box. Any suggestions why this has happened?

Take the cam cover off and have a look to find what has broken, should be noticeable!

I would say it will have dropped a valve and damaged the head. Your best option will be to buy a new engine.

Engine still runs sweet compression fine so no bent valve
