Looks like a dog has been chewing the front wing. For £3000 i'd expect a ph1 to be totally mint beyond mint.

I wouldnt pay £3k for that. At that milage its probably on original oil still.

I now know where my door sills things are from, an exclusive no. 107 (or something)

That adverts shocking for something that should potentially be sought after.

I'd bet the belts need done.

tbf no history noted, it's probably just had a set of 10K clocks put on it, shame you can't check MOT history without log book number.
Either that or had some horrible problem and was left sitting around for years and years, drink driver banned / put in the nick or something.

Hmm, seats and steering wheel don't show much more millage than what it states. Bit iffy tho needs papers to prove its legit.

A old person may have/or might own it. I have a few customers that have nice cars with very low mileage that don't look great two I have asked to buy but they won't sell one old lady that comes to my place has a low mileage black ph1 172 but bumpers look fucked. Then the other old lady has a mint RS festia but she likes her car and knows its worth a bit she had it brand new.
Anyway back on topic I wouldn't mind having ago at this if the history is right body work can be fixed no big deal but not for the asking price.

Great find!

Low mileage isnt a problem if its serviced regularly & looked after. That car is not far off the age/mileage of my v6.

Shame about the wing, but the interior looks immaculate.

If a similar example ever turns up in sunflower I'd be all over it.

Mileage is genuine, the old boy who owned it and only owner has just died (89), full Renault history from new (serviced yearly)

Tempted.

If it needs belts, and it definitely needs paint, no doubt wheel refurbs.... I reckon you should hit him with a couple of G's.

Work your magic on it and you'll have it looking like brand new. Literally! I know what you're like!

If its got full Renault history then i would imagine the belts have been done twice as lets face it old people always pay out on their cars. Hes given me the number for the Renault dealer where its been serviced all its life to confirm everything. Also a new service book has been ordered ready to be stamped by the Renault garage as all the books got thrown when the bloke died, idiots.

Ive checked the mot online history and all is good.

My friends 182 has the No. in the door sill protectors but doesn't have a number, strange. Wonder why, now I know!

I think 3K is really steep, 2K would be more like it, mileage doesn't mean a thing as it'll need loads spending on it. If it were on 50k with full history etc, it would be a much better buy.

Aggree'd. Unless the mileage is silly constant (like 4 miles a day every day), having sat around for that long at some point will have resulted in a lot of knackard rubbers.

That being said, if you bought it, spent £750 tidying it up, then you'd have a silly mint, silly low mileage exclusive. Which is quite cool.

I don't even like Exclusives. They're hideous. The only thing that's exclusive about them is the British Grandad colour, the hideous wheels and interior.

Plus that front bumper has been off by the looks of it...for whatever reason

  172 exclusive no 172
I bought number 172 exclusive last August 2012, I have all mots and all service history to back up the 35000 miles that was on it, the spare wheel is a michelin pilot and has never been on the car...
i bought mine of a 70 year old lady who had owned it since 2005, used on the weekends only and justified.
the previous owner had a private plate from new and only completed 5 000 miles from new to 2005.Again I have all the history and original purchase invoice.

I paid £2700 for this car and had no problem parting with the cash,, If it only has 10000 miles then it could have been in storage.

I was at FCS 2013 and Williams Number 1 was there and that only has 2397 miles on it, Does that make it a crap car etc etc...

Its a bad colour and the hideous wheels, lol this makes me laugh, just because it is not blue, or silver.. and does have f1s or turninis . it has to be bad..

Didn't even make 2k when it was first for sale. Another s**t advert and terrible pics. Hope they haven't binned the original dealer plates.
